About SolAps
Making clean, solar-driven smart technology accessible to individuals and communities globally.
Omololu 'William' Noibi
Founder & CEO
SolAps was founded on July 9th of 2010 by Omololu Noibi aka William, after studying electrical engineering and computer science at the University of Toledo in Ohio, USA.
Omololu was born in Lagos, Nigeria and was deeply sensitive to the urgent need for reliable electrical power. This led to a lifelong focus on employing state-of-the-art solar technology to provide sustainable power grid alternatives to his home country and other global territories where sustainable tech is appreciated.
Over the years, the company conducted significant core technological R&D which catalyzed its key transition to Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA) in the summer of 2015.
Equipped with Silicon Valley principles, the team developed a deeper value proposition that does not just run solar devices, but builds a connected ecosystem that enriches user lifestyle, rewards sustainable practice, and empowers communities.
Today, SolAps expanded manufacturing and development teams globally in both Africa and Asia, creating solid distribution structures with international partners.
From retail and ecommerce platforms to communities, schools, and governments — SolAps brings connected solar to partners across every channel.
Direct-to-consumer online ecosystems and modern hardware integration that bring solar access to regular consumers.
Educational institutions and regional hubs integrating clean technology and IoT curriculum tracking solar output metrics.
Deploying off-grid electrical solutions and micro-infrastructure to remote areas where centralized power grids are unreliable.
Enhancing Corporate Social Responsibility metrics through physical connected solar hardware and ecosystem sponsorships.
Bulk equipment supply agreements for high-efficiency cells, smart backpacks, and solar hardware components globally.
Dedicated point-of-sale displays and local distribution pathways, bringing everyday clean consumer tech to the masses.
Engineers, operators, and partners across the US, Africa, and Asia building the future of connected solar.
